Pricing & Payment Terms

Overview

This page sets out how MWN Digital Limited prices its services and the payment terms that apply. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP).


VAT

MWN Digital Limited is not currently VAT registered. All prices quoted are the prices you pay — no VAT is added.

If we become VAT registered in the future, prices on this page and in all proposals will be shown exclusive of VAT. VAT at the prevailing rate will be added to invoices at that time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of any change in our VAT status.


Web design, development and software

Web design, web development, and bespoke software projects are scoped and priced individually. Every project is different, and we do not publish fixed prices for this work.

Following a scoping call, we will provide a written proposal setting out the scope of work and a fixed project fee. The fee quoted covers the agreed scope only — any changes or additions will be discussed and agreed in writing before additional work commences.

Payment structure:

  • 50% deposit — due before work begins; non-refundable
  • 50% balance — due on project completion, prior to handover or go-live

Consulting

Consulting engagements are quoted on the same basis as project work — scoped individually with a written proposal.

For ad-hoc consulting, ongoing support, or work outside the original project scope, our standard rates apply:

  • Day rate: £400 (based on an 8-hour working day)
  • Hourly rate: £50 per hour

Travel time to and from client sites is charged at the same rates and forms part of the day or hours worked.

Consulting invoices are due on the date stated on the invoice, or within 14 days where no date is specified.


Additional and out-of-scope work

Work requested beyond the scope agreed in a project proposal — including additional revision rounds, new features, or changes to agreed requirements — is charged at our standard rates:

  • Day rate: £400
  • Hourly rate: £50

We will always confirm the estimated time and cost of additional work before proceeding.


Web hosting

Web hosting is available across a range of plans to suit different requirements. Pricing for each plan is published on our web hosting pages. Hosting is billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, with the billing period and amount set out at the point of purchase.

Invoices for hosting services are due on the date stated on the invoice. Late payment may result in service suspension.


Domain names

Domain name registration and renewal prices are published on our domain names page. Prices vary by domain extension (.co.uk, .com, .uk, and others) and are shown at the point of registration.

Domain renewals are invoiced in advance of the expiry date. It is your responsibility to ensure renewal invoices are paid promptly. We cannot be held responsible for the loss of a domain where a renewal invoice has not been paid.


VoIP services

VoIP services are priced on a per-seat, per-month basis. Current pricing is published on our VoIP service page. The number of seats and monthly cost are confirmed at the point of setup.

VoIP services are invoiced monthly in advance and are due on the invoice date.


Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 licences are available through us as a managed service. Current pricing is published on our Microsoft 365 service page and reflects the licence tier selected.

Licences are invoiced monthly or annually depending on the subscription term chosen. Invoices are due on the invoice date.


Setup fees

There are currently no standard setup fees for hosting, domain, VoIP, or Microsoft 365 services. However, setup fees may apply in certain circumstances — for example, where a migration, custom configuration, or onboarding requires significant time. Any applicable setup fees will be clearly stated at the point of quotation or order, before any payment is taken.


Payment methods

We accept payment by bank transfer. Payment details are provided on each invoice. We do not currently accept card payments.


Late payment

Invoices not paid by the due date may attract interest at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. We reserve the right to suspend services where invoices remain outstanding.


Refunds

Project deposits are non-refundable. Prepaid recurring service fees (hosting, VoIP, Microsoft 365, domain registrations) are non-refundable for the period already invoiced.

If you believe an error has been made on an invoice, please contact us at hello@mwn-digital.uk within 14 days of the invoice date and we will investigate promptly.


Changes to pricing

We reserve the right to update our pricing at any time. For recurring services, we will give at least 30 days' written notice of any price increase. Changes to pricing do not affect work already quoted and accepted in writing.
