Digital for causes that matter
Professional websites, bespoke booking systems and affordable hosting for UK charities, CICs, community groups and non-profits — built within charity budgets, supported by a team that genuinely cares.
We understand UK charities and non-profits
Charities and community organisations don't have the luxury of over-spending. Every pound is scrutinised by trustees, accounted to funders, and weighed against front-line work. A £5,000 website has to justify itself against the youth worker, the food parcel, the helpline. We build with that pressure in mind.
We've worked with community centres, village halls, recreation trusts and charitable organisations across the UK — building websites that volunteers can maintain, booking systems that replace paper diaries, donation flows that don't lose conversions to clunky checkouts, and hosting priced for causes rather than commercial businesses.
If you're running a charity or non-profit and your current website looks a decade old, breaks every time a volunteer touches it, or costs more to host than it does to maintain your email — there's a better way.
What charities and non-profits typically need from us
Websites built within charity budgets
Fixed-price builds, transparent quotes, honest advice on what you actually need vs what a commercial agency would sell you. Nothing you'll regret explaining to the board.
Donation integration
Stripe, GoCardless, JustGiving, Enthuse, Give as you Live — one-off and recurring donations, Gift Aid capture, donor records. Built to convert, not to drop your donor at a clunky third-party checkout.
Event booking and volunteer signup
Paper sign-up sheets at events, email chains for volunteer rotas, spreadsheets for room bookings — replaced with proper systems. Volunteers book themselves in, organisers see the full picture, no chasing required.
Bespoke systems for community organisations
Room booking for village halls and community centres. Membership management for community interest companies. Case management for support services. We build what off-the-shelf can't quite do.
Discounted charity hosting
UK-hosted, 99.9% uptime, daily backups, support that actually answers — priced at charity rates, not commercial rates. Often cheaper than the hosting the trustees already approved two years ago.
Microsoft 365 non-profit support
You may already know Microsoft offers discounted licences to registered charities. What you may not know is we can set the whole thing up for you — email migration, staff accounts, volunteer access, Teams — at charity rates.
More community websites and bespoke systems than any other sector
A sample of our charity and community sector work (all pending client confirmation for public display):
- Redhall Community Centre — bespoke WordPress website paired with a Laravel-based room and party booking system, replacing paper diaries and email back-and-forth.
- DVCSSS — community organisation WordPress website with content management the team actually uses.
- Sadberge Village Hall — bespoke WordPress website for a small community venue, priced within a volunteer-run budget.
- Hemlington Lake Recreation — bespoke WordPress website for a community recreation charity.
Across the charity sector we provide:
- Fixed-price website builds with no surprise costs.
- Charity hosting rates that are usually lower than the hosting trustees are currently paying for.
- Microsoft 365 non-profit setup using the free/discounted licences you may already qualify for but haven't claimed.
- Ongoing support arrangements that don't hold you hostage — cancel anytime.
How we work with charities and non-profits
Scope to your actual budget
First call is about what you can realistically invest — not what we'd like to sell. We'll tell you honestly if what you need costs more than you've got, and what a phased approach would look like if so.
Build with your trustees and volunteers in mind
A website that volunteers can update without breaking it. A booking system the treasurer can report from. A donation flow the charity commission won't query. Built to match how your organisation actually runs, not how a commercial business would.
Support at charity rates, forever
Ongoing hosting, WordPress updates, security patches and occasional content changes — all at charity rates, all cancellable at any point. You're not locked into anything other than a willingness to work with us while it's useful.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, and not just on the website — on hosting, Microsoft 365 licence management, and ongoing support too. We'll apply charity rates automatically once we've seen your registered charity number or equivalent.
All our charity website builds include WCAG 2.1 AA-level accessibility as standard — colour contrast, keyboard navigation, screen-reader compatibility, alt-text discipline. It's the right thing to do and often a funder requirement.
Yes. We design the CMS with volunteer editors in mind — minimal fields, clear labels, protected core templates. If a volunteer can use Microsoft Word, they can usually update the website.
Yes — setup, migration, ongoing support, and access to Microsoft's non-profit licence discounts (up to 100% off for registered charities on some plans).
A small community group website starts from around £1,500. A larger charity website with donation integration and event management is typically £3,500–£6,000. A bespoke system (like room booking or case management) is scoped individually.
We're not officially accredited but we work regularly with charity sector networks in the North East and nationally. Happy to share references from existing charity clients.
